At my heaviest I was 340 pounds, my current weight is 182 pounds, bringing my total weight loss to 158 pounds! In 2017 I will reach my ultimate weight loss goal of losing half of my body weight! Very few people will ever achieve such a success! I know I will definitely achieve this success because the diet I’m on requires no willpower and I’m using a few weight loss secrets which have been backed up by science! In my last post I shared with you one of my science backed ultimate weight loss success secrets; I don’t eat breakfast! Scientists have used science to prove that people who skip breakfast consume less calories over the course of the day! You would think that people who skip a meal might overcompensate at later meals, the science says otherwise! Science also says that it doesn’t matter what time of day you consume your calories and nutrition, as long as you get enough over the course of the day! Science backs up my advice that you skip breakfast if you want to lose weight!
Today I’m going to share with you another one of my science backed ultimate weight loss success secrets; negative-calories foods! If you’ve never heard the term “negative-calorie food” before, it refers to foods that require more energy to be digested than it provides. So, logically, you would be losing weight just by eating! Now chances are you’ve never actually taken the time to google “negative-calorie foods”, but I’m going to save you some time and tell you what you will find out if you were to google “negative-calorie foods”! Ready! Here goes! Negative-calorie foods don’t exist!
I’m sure at some point in your life someone has told you about negative-calorie foods! They probably used celery as an example, maybe strawberries! My grandfather used to always mention green beans as a negative-calorie food! But, you probably never bothered to do your own research! If you did, you would have found out that negative-calorie foods don’t exist! Even celery, which is the lowest calorie food on Earth, has six calories in a stalk and it takes about a half a calorie to digest! The scientists have used science to debunk the existence of negative-calorie foods!
But, here’s the kicker! Scientists have also proven that people who believe in negative-calorie foods lose weight! Let me say that again, because it’s amazing! People who believe in negative-calorie foods (a thing debunked by science!) have weight loss success! People who believe that simply eating vegetables will cause them to lose weight are more likely to eat large quantities of vegetables, therefore they eat fewer high-calorie foods, and they lose weight! And they’re healthier!
Remember that one of the common themes of this blog is that I don’t understand the universe at all and yet I am still able to operate it, just as I can still operate a car even though I don’t understand how they work. People who believe in negative-calorie foods are clearly mistaken and yet they have success! You do not need correct understanding in order to have success!
But, now that I’ve let the cat out of the bag, what exactly is my advice? My advice is to live your life as though negative-calorie foods were a real thing! Ignore that little voice in the back of your head that wants to remind you that negative-calorie foods have been scientifically debunked! You’ll recall that in a previous post I told you that when adding up daily caloric intake I don’t count vegetables! I pretend that they are negative calorie foods and my weight loss success speaks for itself!
